Pictorial: Birds

I’m sort-of fascinated by birds, though I’m not entirely sure why. I don’t love them the way I love, say, dogs (which is to say in the “I want to cuddle and love you forever and ever” way), or even the way I love pandas (you stay over there, but I think you’re super cute)….With birds I feel some sort of kinship, though I don’t know that much about most types of birds. Anyway, what this means is that I often end up taking photos of birds, especially in my travels.

And today, the travel bug has bitten. I want to get back out, to see more things. Here are some photos from my travels, some birds that I’ve loved to shoot in a totally non-aggressive way.
