Today I saw this installment floating about the interwebs, and I was so intrigued by it that it had to go on the blog. Man, look at this thing. Lucifer (Morning Star) was installed in the Holy Church at Marylebone in 2008. Paul Fyer used primarily wax for the figure of Lucifer, and he’s hung from power lines. He’s dark and breathtaking. Just as he should be. See www.paulfryer.net for more images of Lucifer and for Fryer’s other work. It’s worth it.

      1. Oh, I’m glad you found some better photographs–and that you reblogged this. Thanks! It’s such a cool installment; wish I’d gotten to see it while it was up.

    1. Isn’t it? It was going around the Facebook, and I had to look it up because I loved it so much. And then I knew you guys needed to love it, too.

    2. Definitely worth the trouble of a post. Even worth the trouble of a few further clicks, despite internet connection that suddenly decides to move in geological time.
