Saturday Feature: If We Were Having Coffee…

I’d tell you that it’s been a long week. I’ve felt way better this eek, but I’ve had to catch up on all the work that I wasn’t able to complete last week, and this week has had a lot of its own tasks to complete. Comps are scheduled, now, officially, and I have just under a month until I’ll be taking the first part of those.

I’d tell you that the weather here has me just wanting to sleep–it’s not terribly hot and about to rain, and the boys are home playing video games. I need to read and grade, but I want to sleep. So I foresee a nap in my near future.

I’d tell you that this is really funny, and you should watch it:

I’d ask what you want to talk about, because today I’m a woman of few words. 🙂

  1. It would be a quiet coffee/hot chocolate meeting because my throat was hurting. The sudden change in humidity is a good thing here, I just hope it stays for a while. A long while.

    1. haha! Thank you for being nervous with me! I have an anxiety disorder, so this sort of thing is an absolute nightmare for me. Trying just to take it one day at a time, though!

      1. I totally agree. As much as I love teaching, I don’t like that I can’t schedule naps at the times I would like. Luckily, I only have classes three days a week, and the rest of the time, I can work at home. 🙂

        1. Yes indeed. I’m at home most of the week—I only go into the university on Monday/Wednesday, which is a nice set-up.
