This week, I’ve been reading nonfiction: when I’ve had a chance. The last month and a half haven’t left me much reading time, but I’m crossing the threshold of “so much to do my head might explode” and getting down to a more reasonable “so much to do I think I’ll read a book instead.”
This week’s pick is Harold Blum’s American Lightning: Terror, Mystery, the Birth of Hollywood, and the Crime of the Century:
