Top Ten Tuesday: 10 Authors I’d Most Like to Meet

This week at The Broke and Bookish, we’re talking about authors we most want to meet. Just for kicks, I’ve not limited myself by those who are living, though let’s assume I’d want to meet them pre-death or in ghostie form, provided their ghostie form isn’t malicious and they’re not zombiefied.

Here they are:

Top: From left–Alice Walker, Carson McCullers, Ernest Gaines, J.K. Rowling, J.M. Barrie.

Bottom: From left–J.R.R. Tolkien, Margaret Atwood, Neil Gaiman, Vera Brosgol, and William Shakespeare.

  1. Now I can’t get a zombiefied Shakespeare out of my head! Still, if he had brain function, and he was a regular old zombie (not those on speed), I’d be firing questions as I ran 😉 Great choices.

  2. Good list 🙂 I’m kind of impressed by some of the overlap I’m seeing in people’s lists that I, somehow, didn’t think of. I think I was too busy just trying to keep it from becoming a list of people I interact with, who are published, that I want to hang out with in person… ’cause that was my temptation. 🙂

    1. You know, I debated that and then decided that it might be weird, because I use photos, so I opted against it. But there are a *lot* of authors I interact with who I’d like to meet.
