Top Ten Tuesday: Ten Books from my Childhood I that I Read to My Child

top ten tuesday

Each week, The Broke and the Bookish holds Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly book blogging meme. This week is a freebie. I’ve been thinking about kids’ literature a lot again lately, as I’ve cleaned out the books that are too young for Little Jedi and started to add some new ones to his shelves. A lot of those books are things I read when I was a child, though quite a few of them are new, too. Here are my top 10 of the ones I read as a child and now read with Little Jedi:

  1. If You Give a Moose a Muffin! 😀 I love that story, and all the others by that author, as well. 🙂 BTW, what program are you using to make the cover graphics?

    1. I need to get some of her other books—that’s the only one we have, and we love it.

I use pixlr.com to make the collages—I just take photos of the books or use a photo pulled from the net and then use PIxlr to put them together.

  2. I used to love the very unfortunately titled ‘Dogger.’ It was beautifully illustrated, but now I can’t help but giggle every time I see it in the book stores. I loved ‘The Tiger Who Came To Tea’ too…
