If we were having coffee, I would tell you that this has been another busy week. We’d sit on the couch with our cups full of coffee, enjoying the quiet of the house while Little Jedi is visiting a friend and Sam doing film work, the pup curled up at our feet or on the back of the couch.
I’d tell you that although I accomplished quite a bit this week, not much of it feels tangible. At least, not yet. I attended a workshop for the nonprofit early in the week, and I also spent some time getting the details together for Little Jedi’s birthday fun, which is coming up in just a few weeks. This year instead of doing a large party, we’re taking Little Jedi and two of his friends to play laser tag, putt putt golf, and ride bumper cars at a local spot, and then after that we’re having cake and ice cream with friends and a few relatives here, and the little boy fellows are spending the night here. Sounds low-key–and it is–but involves quite a few moving parts and pieces to organize.
I’ve also done the very real work of starting to organize some new projects, including pre-writing for a long-form work. I also finalized my A to Z theme and what I’ll be writing about each day, and I sat down with my calendar to schedule out the posts and the other things I’ll be doing in April, including helping with the challenge. I also guested at Infinite Free Time about Spirited Away.
I’d tell you to watch out for the theme reveal on Monday, when I’ll be announcing what I’ll be posting about all through April around here. I’m also planning to make a few more changes to the menus and pages in preparation for the challenge, and I want to do some category check-ups and things this week.
You might’ve noticed that the last few weeks have mostly been devoted to the link-ups around here, Throwback Thursday and Weekend Coffee Share. That will be most of the pattern for the coming two weeks, with the exception of the theme reveal this Monday the 21st and a Monster Monday guest post on March 28th from Melissa of Ramblings of a Jedi Librarian on Levana from The Lunar Chronicles. But fear not…The pop culture content will be back in full force with A to Z, and post schedules will return to normal after April.
For now, I’m off to visit your coffee posts and perhaps to spend part of my afternoon reading some fiction.
Link up your coffee posts below, and don’t forget to use the #weekendcoffeeshare tag on Facebook and Twitter.
